wheel alignment check
A while back I bought a cheap laser wheel alignment tool from ebay, made by Gunson, here are some pics.
First, you need to position the laser just ahead of the front right wheel about 2 feet to the side.
Next the mirror/rod has to be positioned and leveled on the front left wheel.
You then adjust the laser until the reflection from the mirror hits the "zero" reading on the graticule.
Next, move the mirror/rod to the fron right wheel and level.
The toe in or out can then be read off the graticule on the laser unit.
I've now been using on all three of my cars.
