Where is AC14 Connector ?
[/U]Does anyone know exactly where AC14 connector is....and how to get to it ? The diagram for my 2001 XK8 convertible with Premium Sound says this:
14-WAY MULTILOCK 070 / GREY FASCIA BOTTOM CONNECTOR MOUNTING BRACKET / RIGHT HAND SIDE.
Is it under the dash on the right side of the vehicle.... and behind the kick panel ? If so...how do you take the kick panel off to get to it. The kick panel is held down by the silver Jaguar door plate ..how does that come off ? Any help is appreciated.....Thanks....

The electrical guide says the location is "FASCIA BOTTOM CONNECTOR MOUNTING BRACKET / RIGHT HAND SIDE". On the diagram it looks like it's behind the dash, slightly to the right of center. I think the "fascia" is the carpeted piece that goes from the floorboard up to the center console. I think to find that connector you need to take out your center console (see my vid) remove the radio stack (see my vid) and then you can access it down and to the right of the center console, kinda where the passengers left knee would be.
And let me emphasize the "I think" one last time. I'm not sure. That's just an educated guess.

Fascia AC 14 Connector
To the best of my knowledge, when the Electrical Guide references the Fascia, it refers to one of the wood panels covering the underlying dash components. In this case, AC 14 is behind the right panel above the glove box, where you will also find AC connectors 12, 13, & 15. Reverend Sam has a video showing the removal of the center Fascia, which hopefully is a similar procedure for the right panel.
