Where to buy front shocks w/active Cats
Everything I see out here seems to be for cars without active cats. Does anyone have any resources for the front struts/shocks with active cats. I was trying to avoid the full prices. 2002 xkr. I bought the upper shock mounts for my car this week. How do you know if the shocks need to be replaced at all or just the upper mounts? Do the front lower bushings usually go bad too?

I had mine replaced last year during a comprehensive front suspension bushing fitment. the parts cost for two new struts was $700. Since the old struts were already out for the other suspension work I did not have to pay an extra install charge. I am not sure but I think the new struts were made by Bilstein. And, I am not sure where the parts were sourced from. The new struts have functioned flawlessly. BTW, I have found Gaudin Jaguar to be excellent to deal with on ordering parts. They are very helpful and thus far have been able to find every part that I have enquired about, even small rubber and plastic ancillary fittings.

Here's the definition
Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS)
Active or adaptive suspension is an automotive technology that controls the vertical movement of the wheels with an onboard system rather than the movement being determined entirely by the road surface. The system virtually eliminates body roll and pitch variation in many driving situations including cornering, accelerating, and braking.
This technology allows car manufacturers to achieve a greater degree of ride quality and car handling by keeping the tires perpendicular to the road in corners, allowing better traction and control.
An onboard computer detects body movement from sensors throughout the vehicle and, using data calculated by opportune control techniques, controls the action of the suspension.
