Where are the carnival red XKRs?

I do say, sir, you are a man of refined and impeccable tastes.
My personal view is that the Carnival Red/Tan XKRs are just so beautiful that the owners simply can't bear to part with them.
But then, I'm quite biased in this regard.
However, you are correct, a quick scan of my usual spots only turned up one or two CR XKRs, both with very low miles but rather pricey with (and I hope I don't make any enemies here) what some call ****-star red interiors.

Living in the desert, I would never, ever, have another black vehicle.
Too much trouble keeping them clean for the type of driving I do and I don't need any more burn scars on my left arm.
There weren't that many XKRs made in the first place and the Black/Blacks probably vastly outnumber the Black/Tans.
You might find this $9K Black/Black 460hp Arden-modified XKR coupe fun.
It's sat on Craigs for over a year now, starting somewhere in the $12K-$14K range, and you could always change the interior to Tan.

My 2000 XKR Vert is Carnival Red but not worth a whole lot given it now has 110k, but if I go the route of adding a DB9, it might be for sale. I've done timing parts, fuel pumps and leads, full suspension and brake rebuild (just finishing that up right now with a new steering rack), redone leather, new wood, 2 year old paint, redone wheels with new tires and more. Worth like 8k.

Thank you. Yeah, I had already scoped those 2 red XKRs but didn’t count them because I’m set on the tan interior. It’s really amazing how few carnival reds are out there for sale, even with the red or black interior. I agree, it’s because it the absolute best color combo. I really wish I had a place I could take my car and get it completely refurbished for a reasonable (under 5k) price. My car is in great condition paint, wheels, engr, trans, just so many other things. Leaking coolant, ps fluid, front suspension, leather, and the top hydraulics.

I also think it depends on where you live. Some colours look vastly different under different skies. Good luck with your search.
As you may have guessed I am a blue or silver man myself. Each to their own.

Agreed. To each his own. And btw I love silver, my last three daily drivers have been silver. Silver can look really sharp when it’s not perfectly clean. Anyway I am mostly noting my observation that as I look for an XKR, I see lots of silver and black and gray ones for sale but very few carnival red ones. Also btw looks like I found a black one with the tan interior and I’ll be going with that.

Anything but pink
It's funny, and I don't mean to put anyone down, but I usually don't even count the color as a factor. When my wife told me she didn't want another blue car, it struck me as a strange reason to reject a car. The color combo is a factor of course, some are just not desirable, but most grow on me, if I enjoy the car. To each his own, as they say.
