Where did you drive in your XK8/R today?

Now children, let's behave!!! LOL
Drove from Alabama to Florida, sorry no pics, drove down at night and drove back up in the rain, took my daughter car shopping in between. Next time I go down I will get a pic in front of an irish castle.
PS: A Florida millionaire in the 70's brought a castle brick by brick from Ireland to Orlando, he ended up getting caught for fraud and the castle never got completely built back. The front is done, but the rest has been sitting for almost 40 years.
Oops, sorry, just realized I went WAY off topic.

That'll be around 1000 miles round trip?
You drove back in the rain! Everyone else one the forum has me convinced the entire US is bathed in sunshine all the time. Now you've got me thinking they may possibly be trying to wind me up.

WE have been this summer most of the country in the Mid states have drought conditions. My pond is about seven foot below normal, the grass in the yards are brown and this week we are suppose to have record heat waves. For Kansas they are predicting 114 degrees. My son in law and father are cattle farmers and they have lost their corn. They're chopping it up for silage as we speak. The price of food will be climbing in a few months as corn becomes a short commodity. Sorry I went off subject.

Hey Guys,
Just drove mine up from Tennessee to Michigan Saturday & Sunday. Easy trip, got to 135 MPH and felt like there was lots more but my wife's screaming was putting a damper on the thrill of the speed so I backed off. Maybe I'll put a blanket in the back and take my Great Dane/Boxer mix for a ride. She loves going fast!

My wife took her XK8 to the grocery store in Hawkins from Holly Lake Ranch, Tx on Saturday and drove home in the rain. For some reason the entire state of Texas and the rest of the central part of the country is in draught conditions except for a little piece of East Texas. We have a nice shower about every three or four days in this local area. My grass is growing so fast it has to be mowed every three or four days.

I drove to the physiotherapeut and back today. About a kilometer there and another one back. Not much.

I've almost needed medical assistance after reading it.

Thanks. Things are going really well, I'm even allowed back to the gym on wednesday. My goal is to run a marathon next summer. It takes some time to get used to the new back, though. I gained 5cm height after surgery, going from 185 to 190cm.

It's a rental Graham, I'm not keeping it, but so far I can't fault it except for being a bit plasticy.

You'll recall electricity supplies in cities are all underground in England? Well, the main supply cable had melted and the zealots from National Grid arrived at 02:00 this morning and began digging up the street with a pneumatic drill. I'm on a very short fuse today!
