window dropped
hey forum, took the jag out for a ride yesterday (been a few weeks, had it off the road ). but when i opened the driver door the window dropped then i got in ...closed the door and put it back up... problem is it's not sliding up on it's own like it should after the door is closed , you know that little 1/2 inch...... due to the cold weather ya think? will it go back to normal operation when weather warms up or will i have to pull off door panel and adjust the screws for the window ???????????? any thoughts.....tony

take the car to a parts shop, have them check the the battery. If need to be a certain output to operate many things on the car. I forget the output, someone will chime in and post it. The batt can be well enough to start the car but weak to make some of the electronics to go crazy and your window issue is the first one typically to act up as it has to tell you the battery is getting old.
