Default winter storage question

Can a battery tender be put on battery while connected to car or must the battery cables be disconnected?
What other issues should be addressed ?

No need to disconnect the battery. I simply fill the gas tanks and let the toys sit till spring.

My battery tender is on with the battery still connected in the vehicle.

Fill the tank as mentioned. I wouldn't use any fuel stabilizer, I've had cars sit for years without it and the gas is fine. I've also heard the increased amount of Ethanol in modern fuel does not work well with the fuel stabilizers.

The only other things I might suggest would be to air up the tires a few extra pounds to help combat them flat spotting.

Maybe set up some mouse traps under the car if you ain an area where mice might get in.
