Red face A word of caution....

Just in case anyone else is as dozy as I am.

I ordered the Bright Aluminum shifter bezel from Mina on the strength of the picture in their website, and in due course it arrived (along with a couple of very nice little freebies). It installed very easily, and looks great (I know some people think it's a bit "bling-y"), but my black-on-black interior is a bit sombre. Trouble is, I ordered it because my J-Gate shifter plate is cracked, not the bezel! I know, it says "bezel" in the description very clearly; I just thought that it would come with a sturdier J-Gate plate as well. I can see how more of these might crack than the bezels. When I was doing the swap, I noticed that replacing the plate might be a lot more involved than just the surround (with shift interlocks, etc) but..... Oh well, maybe that will be a winter project. No fault at all on Mina's side; this is the second thing I've ordered from them, and their products/service are outstanding. I should just pay a bit more attention.

BTW, if one of those freebies is metal valve stem caps, use them only with a generous helping on anti-sieze paste. They have a nasty habit of corroding on the threads and siezing to the valve stem.
