Same here - I went with 18s on mine - didn't want the harsh ride many have experienced with the 20's.
I went with the 19s on mine. I split the difference still wanting the bigger wheel but wanting to keep the GT ride quality. Seems to have worked out very well on my end. Still the same great ride.
I really like the Whitley's! They fooled me as you can see! My favorite Wheels were the 'Montreal's" and the "Sepang's" but now I can add these "Whitley's" to my list!
I assume you got them from Coventry West in Atlanta? They are might Fancy, young man!
You do know that your XK8 is wired for Blinkers behind the Leapers...don't you? Also, that Body Kit looks better than I thought they would ….Haven't seen many of those. Only thing besides the Clear Lens I mentioned would be to remove the Side-strips from it. That would really clean it up! I would give you an A+ for that! Send some Close-up Photos of the front and Rear with the new Body Kit....I would love to see it.....
I really like the Arden body kit, etc. on the XK8.
As I cannot find such a car in the used market, if I just buy the kit, etc. how much will they all cost? Then I assume I'll need to get it all painted to the body color.
Just purchased my first Jaguar on Friday. Bought a 2004 XK8 from forum member Growler. This beauty has been well cared for and with only 45K miles, should bring us enjoyment for many years to come. I flew down to St. Louis Friday afternoon and had it back in Cleveland 9 hours later. Surprised my wife with it today - who just returned from a trip in Nashville - as our 5 year anniversary gift (might have set the bar a little high for future anniversaries). Needless to say, she enjoyed it! Spent about 6 hours yesterday doing some minor paint correction, polishing and finished with a ceramic coating. I think it came out pretty darn good...
Pacific Blue/Cashmere, standard XKR. Winter is coming so must make preparations and put into hibernation until the spring All of you who can drive these beautiful cars year round, please enjoy and keep pictures coming!

Very nice, you will have problems topping this gift next year, but there is always the F-Type??
And a bit of details - matt black painted headlights, front tyres 265/35R20, rear tyres 285/35R20, custom made wheel centres, body colour painted intercooler and supercharger in red
I'm guessing you might be a bit above stock Hp? Beautiful engine bay as well as the rest. Any interior shots?
Thank you) Here it is. Just black with leather windshield frame etc and new burl wood. Regarding HPs, after new chains and metal tensioners with both pulleys upgrade and free flow exhaust it should be about 430hp, but didn't check it on dyno yet. But S/C vine and exhaust combination is awesome. 200cpsi cats, X-pipe, 2 pairs of resonators, all 2.5" underaxle - sounds exciting.
What mufflers did you use? Did you eliminate either of the muffler/resonator sets? Any modifications needed for the O2 sensors?
I am considering doing some muffler modes for better sound/performance on my XK8. Don't expect a lot of increase in hp, but would like a little better noise?? A little of the Old Hot Rodder still left.
