All, my first XK8.... first Jag actually, 2000 model with 38,000 miles
( usually my cars are pre 1970 ). Will be doing all maintenance and corrective work myself, so will need your help, thanks in advance.
Here's a couple shots as the clouds parted finally in the Portland US area. My dd ex-garage queen, now lightly driven but every day.
It surely presents contrast in an ocean of SUVs, especially here.
Here are photo's of my 2005 XK8 Convertible. This is one of two Jaguars I currently own, the other being a XJ8 also in the same colour of my XK8 - Seafrost.
The XJ8 cost a fraction of the cost of the XK8 - £300! But I have rebuilt it to look and drive like new at considerably more than the £300 I paid for it, but it was worth it to keep the old Jags on the road for future generations to appreciate the Jaguar brand!
I see you have the windscreen installed. How well does it work? Did you instal it yourself? Can you post a closeup of the side mounting location. I am considering adding one to my '06.
The wheels do look great. Are they stock wheels powdercoated?
My 2005 XKR on the way home from (Tucson to Portland, OR)
Driving her home from Tucson. 130mph in Nevada
Driving my new (to me) XKR home from Tucson. Check Engine Light just came on.
If the check engine light came on, then you are truly a Jaguar owner. It means you are supposed to get out, lift the bonnet and check how cool the engine looks!

Hi "samthesham"
In the UK we call them wind deflectors and is factory fitted. To be honest, I have not seen another one like it in the UK. Slits are made either side of the leather pieces below where the hood sits. The wind deflector works very well. The wheels are 20" Detroit Oyster Alloys that have been powder coated in a Mercedes silver - they have little bits of metallic in the paint that sparkles when the sun comes out!

Looks good. Wheels look great. The Wind screen/deflector I have seen here on eBay seems to screw mounting brackets onto the side of the arm supports. WIll have to look closer.

Nobody's going to fit back there it looks awesome... Scared people sit here. Seats are so comfortable.. And now to get inside and see my two tone dye and detail jobbie- So angry lol Tough stuff... Slide to the right Poke poke not a joke 20x12 with 285-35's stretched.. had to cut the hell out of the car to get em to turn ... Sexy.. Step back and walk it out... Lets walk around and check out the craftsmanship lol Now blow out the candle and make a wish....
I guess I should have made a opinion instead of a photo. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend, so time to wipe those tears away. It's obvious that you spent a lot of time and money in your customization. For me, the XK100 body is one of the most beautiful body designs out there. That is why I bought one. I once had a Porsche 912, and replaced the seats with a set of Recaros. They looked nice but were actually uncomfortable for any lengthy drive. Put the originals back in before I sold it. It's just me,but hard to improve on perfection.
Appreciate your comment. The suggestion to add luggage shelf was well intended. The back seat of the coupe is unsuited for use by most normal sized humans of any age., i have considered replacing it with a luggage shelf similar to the 300SL or 250 GTO. For now, it stays stock. the usable part of the interior
