Beautiful car. Do you get any vibration on the tail pipes as the fit looks very tight?

Great looking car Aftershock.

Can I ask do you have any issues with the Arden rear lights? I get a "check rear lights" message whenever my lights are on, local indy checked them out and said all is as it should be, he put it down to the car detecting something not quite as it once was.

No warning lights at all kev, I'm not using leds either and pretty much wired it the same as the original except I did delete the backup lights since I changed the center to red. In case any one is wondering the lights are actually from a 2001 lexus IS 300 LOL

Your colour, Amaranth Pearl, is probably one of the rarest colours produced of the XK8s/XKRs. I went looking all over the US for almost 5 months and the only one for sale I found was one in Chicago in a Salvage Auction. I strongly considered it because of the colour. It does look good in that wrap, but know you have a rare colour underwraps.

After looking for the XKR-100 Badge for over a year and finding it in Scotland, (Photo Below) and you giving me an idea of where I could get the Tread Plates....I am a happy Guy and I finally have all the goodies that the SVO Team came up with in 2001, when they made this limited run of 500 XKR-100's to celebrate Sir William Lyons' 100th Birthday. All these XKR-100's came with the "R" Option Package and cost 5,900 Pounds more than the Standard XKR! (Jaguar was pretty Proud of them too!)

Graham and any of you Guys on the Forum, do you know of anyone that has a real one? This would really be a rare XKR! OOPs! 2001 "XKR-100"!

The Nose-piece Emblem for the XKR - 100
Billy, do you know where I could get a Victory Edition Nose Emblem? Not sure why my car doesn't have one. No record of a wreck or damage to any of the vehicle, let alone the front. I sure can't find on though. I haven't even come across one of these. All I can find are the normal emblems and the supercharger emblems. I'd much appreciate any help you or anyone could provide me on this. Thanks.

Your car probably doesn't have one because they are extremely collectible to trophy hunters.

This source question has been asked several times and the answer is usually "impossible to find". They were scarce when I had my 2005 XK8 4.2-S Final Series and I sold that eight years ago.

Amazingly there is a new one listed on ebay UK by Berkshire Jag Components (a well known UK aftermarket parts specialist) at an opening 50 UKP:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144042677...oAAOSwHr9gn8-V

It could go a long way up from the starting bid but finding another could be years or never.

Graham

Thank you Graham. I guess I was doing the wrong kind of search. We shall see what happens. I guess the price isn't out of line compared to the catalog.

Refurbishing is an understatement Sam:-) I have the shock mount problem up front, I will change the bushes and so on once I get to it. Then, address the paint/clear.....little by little I will bring it all back:-) I hope:-) With all the god people here I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Thanks for the props:-)
