The same up here in B.C. Canada. I haven’t had my plate on the front for 2 years and the cops haven’t bothered me yet. I think they like the clean look too. If they stop me I’ll try to remember your reply. I like that.

370 @ 6,150 RPM . Makes a wild sound when you floor it and the supercharger kicks in (there is a nice country road near my house where I can do this, I took a photo there one time, I should have posted that one instead of my driveway)

Car was made for this road

If you were asking about my car, on the dyno it put out 390HP and 445 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels. If I use an 18% estimated loss through the automatic trans drivetrain that would give me an estimated 460HP and 525 Torque at the crank, which is plenty for now.

Bought her last August. I had never even SAT in an XK before then, so it was a HUGE risk, and I bought her sight unseen off of EBay out of New York City. Just love this car.

Im new to jaguars, got this for my son from my boss for an unbelievable price. me and my son have been learning together how to work on it. it had 79k miles when we got it. after new plugs and all the other work we have done she runs great with no codes. As of now all I have left to do a valve cover gasket job. Im planning on getting a paint job soon as well. Ive been really impressed by the car so far.

That is a bit of a risk, purchasing off eBay, especially from New York. New York winters are car destroyers. How is the undercarriage?

I was amazed. It's in great shape. I looked up the PO, and he lived in a high dollar house, so I'll bet it was an occasional use car, not in winter. I got her at a great price. Figured if she was bad, I could flip her here in Florida and put money in my pocket. Instead, I'm selling my 73 Mustang.

That's an awesome picture except for the blocker.

Fortunately, it is easy to make the blocker disappear and put the focus of the image on your beautiful Jag.

For more than a decade I've used a wonderful free PC image app called "Irfanview" to post process my pics.
it's easy to crop, sharpen, and change the brightness/contrast/saturation, as well as small/large rotation to make images level.
I do these because my phone tends to record images too bright and flat.
Cropping is probably the best way to make the subject of your photo the focus and stand out more.
Anymore I tend to shoot a bit wide, then crop in to exactly the frame I want to show.

Below is a touched version of your original picture at the bottom.
I used" crop [select box+ctrl-y] to remove the blocker & some of the messy road & contrail and +sat +contrast [shift-g] to make the shadows & blue sky just a tiny bit more dramatic.
I didn't use: -brightness [shift-g] or fine-rotation [ctrl-u] or sharpen [shift-s] as the brightness was great and sharpening turned your trees into icicles.
If you go overboard with saturation & contrast, you'll need to start posting to an Instragram account.

Also, after an experience in court where everyone's internet presence was being searched (fortunately we triumphed because we were/are squeaky clean), I routinely blackout/randomize my number plate because google is doing text recognition of online photos ( https://www.google.com/search?q=4049...&tbm=isch&sa=X finds images of our nonprofit's WWII half-track "4049386" and that number isn't contained in the photo metadata.).

Your original photo

lightly touched with Irfanview

Default RED CAT 4

I like chrome wire wheels on my XKR, not too crazy about cleaning them.

I have always liked wires also. Were they already on, or did you have to add? Where are they from?

Default Chrome wheels cleaning

I do have Atlas chrome wheels ans the best and easiest way to keep them clean is to use Ceramic coating on them. My 2006 Victory Edition is stored for the winter in Quebec.

When it clean it from the storage I applied Ceramic coating on all chrome parts. It take a bit of time but after I am good for a full summer of light clean and dry.

She's 24 years old now, and this summer I've had her for 12 of those years.

I just love the clean look of the early XKR, without the added chrome trim and other detail changes they did with the facelift. But I seem to be in the minority regarding this
