Well - love it or hate it - here's my XK8
Don't panic - it's been wrapped, not painted.
(I love it!!!)
I have an emerald fire XF too.
Dedicated Jag fan.
Roy.
Cool combo!
Is the blue wrapped as well, or just the stripe?
I whole heartedly agree that these cars meant to have fun with! I, too, love to mix it up and make my Jaguars unique. And I too have both an XK and an XF! And both are heavily modified. I've just had my XK8 interior given the Louis Vuitton treatment. Not a gangsta style, but a more vintage steamer trunk feel done with recycled LV vinyl from old damaged large garment bags.
I'd love to see a Jaguar show with only modified cars! Now that would be amazing!!
Apologies for the delay in replying - I only just saw the message...
The light blue is also part of the wrap.
As it happens, the wrap will be coming off in about 6 weeks time and it's going to be wrapped again but in different colours.
Still a GULF scheme, but similar to the colours on the McLaren cars - black lower, blue upper and a wide orange waist line separating the colours.
Black nose and tail, orange stripe over the top.
Sounds a bit much, but I've had drawings etc done for the wrappers to follow - it will be another 'Marmite' car...
Freshly washed and waxed. ❤️
I'm getting quite tired of all the clouds and rain. Anxiously awaiting a sunny day so that I can get some pictures that do the amaranth pearl justice!
Seeing as the last pic had a pickup in the background......
My two options to drive....Beauty and the Beast!! Although the Cat is a beast as well so maybe its Beauty/Beast and the Beast!!

At the broker where I bought our 2002 XKR, they happened to have a 1968 XKE almost exactly the same color. Because GR Auto Gallery is so meticulous about their photos, I was able to download identical poses, morph them together in PowerPoint, and upload as a video to YouTube. To me, this shows with great satisfaction how the X100 faithfully preserved the mystical legacy of the E-Type, which Enzo Ferrari declared to be "the most beautiful car ever built."
Enjoy!

Reason: I had thought the XKE was a '72, but Jandreu set me straight.
