Julian and theweeb, I regret not having my Running-Lights on they sit on both sides of that open area just under the Grill, you can just barely see them....If they had been on, it would have really made that Photo......Can you light them up with your program?
Thought I'd work on this a bit more, and pro it up. Blurred background to add depth and rebuilt bricks in perspective, repainted shadow brisker and shorter
and deleted foreground shadows and elements (umm half your house, sorry) then rebuilt background wall and drivepath. Adjusted bright spot over wheel to move eye to car front. Brightened headlights inner chrome area and exposed details under front grille, and last changed reflectors from orange to clear. Lemme know what you think.

This is going to be somewhat off-topic, and I apologize in advance if anyone is offended. There appears to be some real photoshop talent here, I wonder if it is worthy of starting a new thread? Something specific to putting our Jaguars in unique settings. When I owned a Dodge Magnum, in that forum there was a talented individual who would put together images of the car with models. This forum already has a "Girls on Jaguars" or something like that, so again, this photoshop is not meant to offend, only give an example of what is possible. I am not thinking of specifically adding women to our photos, but just a gallery of photoshopped Jaguars in general, like the very stunning one rothwell did above. Thoughts? Worth a new thread?
Julian, Thanks again for fixing up my "Black Beauty"! That really looks good and that Photo of our Friend Pretty little Bluefin's "Little Silver Jag" is amazing! Thank you so much for doing that for her! I know she appreciates it very much! It is absolutely Beautiful.......BC in Houston
Hey Everybody! Look what Ricoshae has posted up here......Good looking little Black & Ivory Convertible......What would you say, about 1998 or what? Looks like he's taking good care of it......
Here you go. These are always so fun to make. Not exactly overlooking the ocean though. I just liked the colors in this scene.
Rothwell, This is outstanding! I see that Pretty Ms. Bluefin has it as her Wallpaper on her computer already.....I know she is thrilled with it....You have outdone yourself again.....

It is a 1998. I am the second owner. Purchased at 84.5k miles. Just rolled over 89k last week.
The color is actually "Amaranth Pearl". A dark purple metallic. It is not readily distinguishable from black unless in bright sunlight, as seen in this photo:

Ricoshae, That's a beautiful color! I had know idea that Jaguar had ever used Purple but it is beautiful! Looks like you got a deal with this little 98.....Take care of it and make sure the Chain Tensioners are the newer version! Hope the original Owners gave you the Records on the Car....

The tensioners and thermostat have both been replaced. The only thing I feel pressure to replace are the hydraulic lines for the top. The thought of a green shower is terrifying!
I feel that I got a pretty good deal on her. $7,200 cash. Now, my expenditure has since grown with purchase of summer wheels and other incidentals. At last calculation, I am nearing 12k. I don't find that unreasonable for a beautiful car that I plan to hold onto for the duration.
Oh yes....the service record file on this car is extensive.
Same body kit here but I ordered Wihout the little side scoops on skirts.
I think this kit is the best update for our cars!
I actually never liked the XK8 until I saw the Arden version and when I found Mina sold their body kit, I finally traded my XJS for an 02 XK8.
Loved it so much I've modified every inch! Lol.
