Miss America took my Coupe to the Car Wash this morning, while I slept-in and bought it back looking so good that I decided to shoot some Photos of it! Since you apparently like Black XKR's, I thought you might enjoy these shots....

Thanks for the Supersprint attachment...I have them in my Favorites now and I appreciate it! I haven't completely reviewed their Site as yet and would like to know if you have found that maybe they make Headers for our 4.2 Engines? If so, please let me know where to find them...
Just had the Gulf racing wrap taken off my car so it's now back to Anthracite. Looking nice and mean, but it's being wrapped again this coming week so it won't look like this for long...

Roymattblack,
First question is "Why are you going to Wrap it?" then why did you wrap it? and then I noticed the White Emblem on the Nose Piece...is that a "Victory Edition" Emblem? Sorry for all the questions , just don't understand what's going on..........One more question.....is it a 2000 XKR? Reason: I had a 2000 Anthracite XKR Coupe with Black Interior....
Ok - first, the wrap didn't damage anything when it came off. The pics posted show the car the day I collected it from being 'unwrapped'.
Why wrap???
Hmmmm - a difficult one.
Mid life crisis?
Old age senility?
Just daft?
Probably all three.
I've always been a great fan of the Gulf colours so 3 years ago I had the car wrapped light blue/orange with new black Raceline wheels. (Pic attached)
It's in for a new wrap - took it this morning. They want the car about 10 days in all.
Once again, it will be Gulf colours but this time, the 2007 McLaren colours/style.
Definitely a 'Marmite' thing - you love it or hate it.
I'm not going to sell the car, I have a lifetime platinum warranty on it as long as I keep it.
So, yes there are Jaguar people who think it's sacrilege, and there are those who think it just being individual.
That's me.
roymattblack, The new look makes for a much better design than the old Wrap....I am assuming the light color will be the Gulf Blue? Should turn-out much more Classic looking than before!!!! What can be done about those Black Wheels? Can they Wrap them too? Sorry, I just don't like Black Wheels, but that's my problem! The Wrap is OK if used properly, as I have a little Wrap on my lower Rockers! Please send Photos when it's finished! Oh! by the way,,,,What about that White Emblem on the Nose Piece...is that "Victory Edition"?
Hello there.
Yes, the upper area on the new design is still light blue, but the slighter darker blue they used in 2007-2010 at times, not the blue I had in the first wrap.
I'll post plenty of pics when it's done.
With the wheels, I still have the original silver 'flute' rims but I like the black. I'll see how I feel about it when it's all done.
The white rimmed badge - no, it isn't the Victory edition. It's the 'Silverstone' badge.
I picked it up brand new on that well known auction site for £5. I just like the light coloured surround compared to the black. It makes the badge stand out more, particularly on a black car.
