wymjym,
With the Hills in the background, I assume this Photo is out west of Austin....It's a Beautiful XK Convertible but I still wish it had Clear Repeater and Marker Lens! That's my thought for the Day! I know you disagree but that's OK! It still a Beautiful XK...
Is that little White Building out in the Field, an old ATC Radial? Can't see it quite good enough to tell...…………
Thanks for the Photo!

An excellent road for driving "under the radar" are the public highways used for the Big Bend Open Road Race. Measures a little over 50 miles each way and unlimited fun can be had if you keep your eyes open.

Deloitte?
Nice looking coupe and excellent product placement. I used to work in the Stainless Building in far background, but we never got signage. You see our signage on our LA building which shows up in the background of various movies and TV shows with car chase scenes. Always exciting in SOCAL

The Texas Races
zray,
Two of my Son's got their Degrees from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX...that's about 100 Miles North of Terlingua, TX, which is just outside of the Southern Entrance to the Big Bend National Park....It's only about 100 Miles from Alpine.....Those Roads out there are long and lonely as are the Roads coming South from Fort Stockton....Long and Hot in the Summer, long and Cold in the Winter, as they are in High Country...4,500 ft with Mountains in the surrounding area over a mile high! Everything out there is measured in 100 Miles.
I noticed that there was only 1 Jaguar that ran in the Races and that was a 2017 but did not say what Model.....That's long lonely country out there.....Don't think I would want to go that far to RACE.....!

Parked next to this DB7 Vantage at the southern NH cars and coffee in Salem NH. Had a pretty good conversation with him regarding parts sharing, especially the gem that the XKR100 Brembo rotors are interchangeable with his own and are also significantly cheaper than the official Aston Martin parts.

After 4-5 years without a Jag, I picked up this 2001 XKR a couple of weeks ago. It's a former Calif. car, with 100,000 miles. Seems to be very well maintained, by a professional mechanic who owned it for the last year. All updates have been done. Its currently in his shop attending to a couple of punch list items. Looking forward to driving this car!

Beautiful car and beautiful setting! I used to visit Rome frequently. Where in the city is this fountain located?

No beautiful setting here, only finally out of the garage now that top-down motoring weather is finally here. She has been under wraps for the past four months, what with the incredibly wet July and oppressive heat and humidity here on the island since then. Fall/winter has arrived, the best time for this kind of experience.
