That's the same for me. Actually going to spend some time with the Cat today and get it ready for it's exposure to the elements here. Mine has also been stored away during the hot summer months in the desert. Fall and Winter are the best time for me to drive around with the top down. The temps have dropped down to around 90, so it's that time again.

For what it is worth, and this is known probably to all, but over the past four months I tried to keep on a schedule of periodically starting mine. Tried and failed, twice I had to put it on the battery charger. The next time it sits for so long, I am going to do a reminder in my calendar to start and let run weekly.

when a battery is used to start the car, it takes much much more than a few minutes idling, or going on a 10 minute drive, to replace the energy used when starting. And even when in the "sleep" mode, with very little drain on the battery, the battery will slowly lose voltage over time. Given these two facts, it's commonsense to keep a battery tender hooked up at all times the car is not in use , overnight or longer. This has the added benefit of greatly increasing battery life.

2008 XKR Portfolio in Celestial Black
I absolutely love my 2008 XKR Portfolio Coupe. It is approaching 40.000 kilometers (25,000 miles) and it has been trouble free. It may be 10 years old but it is flawless and still attracts a lot of attention.
The color changes from black on a cloudy day to deep blue in the sunshine.
I have taken it on several long road trips and even after many hours at the wheel, I still feel comfortable and relaxed.

That bottom location looks familiar - not far from Zion National Park I think?
Great looking car.

Is it BRG or JRG? Whatever, it's special!
Redeye, Thanks for being easy on me.....I wasn't thinking....As I've told you several times, the first Jaguar XK8 Coupe I ever saw was BRG or JRG in London.....It was rolling down the wrong side of the Street with the rest of those British Guys....That was what lead me to buy my first Topaz Coupe in 1998 a couple months after returning to Houston....
If you will look closely at the Photo of "Sweet Sugar", you will notice JRG just behind the Front Wheel on the Rocker Panel....It is part of the Colors that Jaguar gave to the "R" Performance Package...……..Red/Silver/JRG..... It's also in the memory of that BRG Coupe I saw that day in London!
