It occurs to me I never posted these after I took them. It's been a few years since I had this car. I hope it's living a good life. I wish to get my current XKR to look as pristine as I managed with that XK8 convertible. However, I don't think the silver will ever shine as rich and deeply as the black.

Pics of the inside console with added features. Bluetooth module mounted into coin tray, controlling music from a Samsung Tab S2. It is mounted by magnets, so can flip forward to reach fog lights and seat heat controls. A wireless phone charge pad is wired into armrest cubby, and a Wi-Fi hotspot is wired in glove box. both using the optional addition accessory port hidden behind glove box. That port also feeds a USB plug mounted in coin tray to power the tablet. Tablet and phone play through original Alpine amp and speakers, CD charger is still retained too.
Two other little additions shown. Jaguar flip key remote, and British Autowood Jaguar logoed matching wood shifter knob.

I hate, errrrr, I mean I'm taking a strong dislike to you ! you lucky SOB. You haven'y done enough suffering, laying on cold concrete under your car trying to find out where that damn leak is coming from.
regards,
Z
PS, Shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but I'm nearly as lucky as you .Bought my '02 XKR coupe for under $8,000, and with the major engine flaws already fixed. 133,000 miles and counting....

Hey Mike,
Good Luck with that!! I spend a couple months in Methodist a couple years ago getting acquainted with my new "Pig Valve"! Not much fun at the time but now all is well! You'll be fine with it as these Guys today are true Miracle Workers!
Hang in there!

CE2 JAG is no more
Sorry to say that one big mistake has cost the life of my '04 XK8. She was a great car and gave her life for me. I am OK - just a little banged up from the accident.
RIP CE2 JAG. So long friends ! I won't be getting another Jag. It has been great to be associated with such a fine group of car fanatics !
