2004 XKR for sale with rare after-market Sunroof.
Such a shame that it was never a factory option. It would have been a feature that I would have looked out for when shopping around.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175327597...QAAOSwMYZil9Bw
Pretty sure it's a 4.2 as it has the fuel pulse damper gizmo over the LHS cam.
@PK - I wonder if it's a headroom thing? I'm a shorty @ 5'8" and there's only a couple of inches above. Do like the idea, though, my X300 had one (and no aircon).
I am 6-foot-7 so I have always despised sunroofs. Plus, they all eventually weep or leak as the rubber seals around them break down as the decades pass. Unfortunately we have two vehicles with factory sunroofs (my Subaru Outback 3.6R and her Lexus RX350) but I would avoid vehicles with aftermarket sunroofs like the plague....
Im 6'6ish and like jon said, there isnt much room left above lol. Of course that being said, with my overall size there isn't much room anywhere else either! Smh! Ive always thouggt a targa top wouldve looked good on these.
It seems every car I've had with a sunroof leaked at one time or another. Usually the sunroof drains get clogged, then the seals go. My convertible has been
the most water tight car I've had, even at 17 years old.

Yep, you do need to unclog those sunroof drains from time to time. On some vehicles we have owned it has been easy to do using weed wacker line or twisted wire cable fed down the drain tubes from the top of the sunroof rails, but other vehicles have required me to pull the sides of the headliner down, find the drain hose ends, pull them off their nozzles, and blow them out with compressed air. My former 2005 S-Type required that procedure at least twice during the nearly ten years that I owned it....
