No plans to get rid of the X100, I like it too much. I am going to add an X308 XJR in the next year though.
I really think the X100 and X308 R models are a great bang for the buck for performance, reliability(yes, reliability), luxury and style. My XKR has been mile for mile cheaper than both my Corvette and 7-Series have been, and more reliable. The Vette went so I can add the XJR (spacewise), that's how impressed I am with these cars.

When the '97 hits 200k I'll be in the market for a nice '05. Got the colors picked out that I'll be shopping for. And of course the list of what's already been fixed. I'll let the cosmos decide if it finds me a XK or an R. Got to keep some things as a surprise
Only 36,000 miles to go, at 600/week that's about 60 weeks...

My next Jag will be an XKE convertible ,second edition if possible. I would trade my XK8 in a heartbeat if I could find the right one ( must be red). Still the classiest car that Jaguar ever built. The new ones look like too many other high end cars on the market today.

I agree the mileages are incredibly low. I saw a 2005 DB9 coupé for sale in the UK yesterday that had done just 6000 miles! The convertibles are much more expensive than the coupés here in Europe, makes me think I should look at importing one from the US, especially if they're 'only' $30-40K! You're looking at more like $75K in the UK and $100K here in France

A quick look at cars.com here in the US shows a number of DB9 convertibles with low miles in the $ 30,000 - $ 40,000 range, but if you want a coupe, the lowest I see is $ 59,917 US.
All the Astons I see for sale have such low miles...don't people ever drive those things?

I just wonder if the ads are fraudulent, especially considering most of the ads I saw for Astons had individual names (not even last names on many) and most often were email only. Just curious and cautious is all.

Personally I think the DB9 is becoming more and more dated, and performance wise it doesn’t stand out either, the badge and exhaust note somewhat remains. The newer model xkr also doesn’t appeal to me, then I would rather like a new XJR more due to its interior when it comes to a new one (not so much the exterior). The new sls amg roadster isn’t bad if I am allowed to say it here, but so far my current XKR fulfills most of what I look for in a car; modern classic, elegant curvy lines and performance in abundance.
