Bought a 99XK8 Convertable for my 60th, managed to convince the wife it was for our 35 th wedding anniversary, sometime she looks at me as if she has it figured out. So far so good.

71 and change. Just got my '06 XK8 coupe a couple weeks ago but had my first Jag when I was 25, an XK-150 FHC. I had the 150 for seven years and have missed it ever since I sold it out of perceived necessity. Got sidetracked with my passion for Land Rovers for many years. I've wanted an XK8 since it was introduced and finally realized that dream. Love it!

I was so young then! 29 now lol.

Well, 70 in December. Now, I wanted a Jag since a Junior in H.S. .. was the 1st gen XKE back then. I do quip occasionally that the Jag is the only thing I do, that is remotely age appropriate, but without the golf clubs. Also, I hardly ever take her over half speed .. really

It's my "daily driver" as it were .. have an F-350 for the heavy stuff. In Dick Van Dykes expression the other night .. It's a blast to drive "while I'm swirling around the drain" lol. He'll be 91 in December .. Thanks for the laughs Dick. Cheers!
