XK8 1996 ABS front hub nut - right or left hand thread? - RESOLVED
Thanks for readng this!
I've got a 1996 xk8 and am just about to tackle the dreaded front wheel bearing. (left hand side)
I've bought the special tool and soaked everything in oil.
Are both sides right hand thread or is the left side left hand thread?
Please, replies only if you've actually tackled this yourself.
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, yes I am referring to the Abs ring.
I took the plunge earlier and yes, as you say, I can confirm to anyone else in the same position that it is a normal thread (despite reading otherwise somewhere else), I just worried at first why I was having to put so much force into it with a large scaffold bar but no movement but finally it went!
For anyone doing the same job, I found the cheapest place to buy the special tool to remove the abs ring was from The Tool Academy (Hardwick Motor Company, Sutton in Ashfield) who have an ebay store, cost £52 and worth buying, just made sure I sprayed plenty of oil around the job several days before I tackled it, to help free off rusty areas.
