It depends on what you consider problems. Yes it will fit, but it will help to pull as much as possible from an XKR. Have a search of the forums. I believe their are a few threads about this that will tell you more. Most conclude that it is only really economically feasible if you have a perfect XK8 with a blown engine and a cheap, totalled XKR to pull parts from.

The simple answer is no...there will be nothing but problems changing this out. The XKR has an extra radiator and coolant pump system for the intercooler and all its mountings along with an oil cooler to start with, it also has its own engine management system that is tied to the electronic tranny and its TCM. The XKR needs dual fuel pumps and the harness for that and so on and so on. As was said, if you have an entire XKR donor car, it is possible, but will take some work, you will not only be removing mechanical components but many of the harnesses to run them. The good news is that the engine and supercharger will fit under the hood! At the current prices, year for year, it is cheaper to buy an XKR.
