Question XK8 Convertible identification help needed

Hi forum, I have a 2005 XK8 convertible. I love this car but know very little about it's specs, options, performance, etc...
so I contacted the Jaguar dealer near me. They said to call Monroney window stickers to get the original window sticker but they don't have it.

My steering wheel has an "R" on it & the gas & brake pedals are chrome with rubber bumps. I'm finding
conflicting info online to what this means (which is why I tried buying the orig window sticker) "R" series?

Also, the electric fan runs for a few minutes after the car is turned off, an online user said it could be a high performance engine...
I've attached a few pics.

Pedals

Engine

"R" Steering wheel ?

Any knowledge on this car would be appreciated. Thanks! Terry

Someone replaced the driver's 'airbag' with one from an XKR. (supercharged)

Thank you Motorcarman, so it's just a regular stock engine & the foot pedals are normal?

Have a look at the front upper shock mounts also. may require attention.

4.2L engine. 6-speed zf transmission.

“wrong“ steering wheel and crap strut mounts in the front like mentioned above 😜

I don't remember what pedals look like anymore.
I have not worked at the dealer since 2006 and my 4.2 liter XKR customer hasn't been over in a few months for me to notice.

Your pedals look like the ones I have in my XKR, but I don't know if the XK8 pedals were any different?

You have a carbon fiber edition. The interior trim is vinyl carbon fiber wrap instead of wood veneer.
