Let us know when you get it together Gus, I'm sure a lot of people won't want the hassle of sourcing all the parts for themselves.

Relief valve kits
We put in an order for another batch of relief valves kits today. The delivery is about 4 weeks so I'll post when they are available again. I originally made the kit available when efforts to get group purchases didn't go anywhere. This was two or three years ago. If people buy them we will keep them available.

I know nothing about them. Many of us have used Top Hydraulics for cylinder rebuild and hoses, link below. As long as you have the green Pentosin CHF11S fluid you will probably never need to change.

Ted - Gus's website jagrepair.com also has a couple other options for replacement hoses but here is a comparison I did when I needed to replace mine- prices are from 2013 when I bought my hoses from Cabriolet Hydraulics but gives you an idea of the differences between the 2 companies:
The original hoses are rated at 3000psi with operating pressures around 1600psi
CabrioletHydraulics are the stainless steel braided ptfe rated at 450degrees and a burst rating of 12000psi. For a set of all 6 hoses $580 or $550 with core. I only needed the 4 cylinder hoses as the latch hoses had been replaced - so the 4 are $350 with core. The hoses also have a 3year warranty.
Top Hydraulics uses a kevlar reinforced hose with a 23000PSI burst rating and a set of 6 is $600
I have seen several in the forum recommend Top Hydraulics. I contacted a local vendor but they wanted $1000. A local convertible repair shop recommended Cabriolet Hydraulics for the hoses - so I guess I went with the less impact to wallet route since I want to do some other work

Mike,
Several years ago I removed and replaced the pump. The top did not work after I re-installed the pump. It has been a while but I think I could hear the system operating, but no movement of the top. I kept trying and it eventually started to work.
You may have air in the system that needs to be "work its way out". There is no formal bleed system. Operating the top eventually lets the air out of the system. I do not understand how that works, but it does.
Hope that is the problem. If it is, it is an easy fix.
