XK8 Deck lid Chrome

Hi all, I have noticed a few XK8's on the road with a chrome truck lid lift in place of the body color unit I have on my 99 XK8. Any idea what year XK8's have this feature? Rich

I think all xkr from 2001 onward, I'm not sure if the N/A models all got the chrome.

I have seem some that paint the chrome plinth the body color and it looks nice.

In 2001 the Chrome Plinth was added to the XK8 and XKR (including a Trunk Release Button).

However, several years later, the XKR Plinth was changed back to Body Color.
