I noticed you had reference to my page GusGlikas.com and that is my photo page. You also have reference to Jagdocs.com and that page has been shut down. I also see a few photos from my page and I see no harm just give credit for it. My page is clearly marked with this.

JagRepair.com © 2012 - 2017 by Gus Glikas. All rights reserved.
The JagRepair logos and all proprietary artwork, photos and content are the property of Gus Glikas and may not be reproduced or distributed without expressed written permission.

I would also suggest letting people know where you got some of your info to give credits to the ones that did the research.

Default Thanks for your suggestions

Gus my man, haven't we done this dance before? The only photos that are yours in the current revision have a reference to your website leading up to them. I make no money off of this enterprise and your content although useful is limited so I suggest you get over yourself. I am merely trying to get all available info on this car into a useable form for owners. to that end 90% of the research, photos and content are my own, unless there is an imbedded manufacturer's name visible or a reference to the source in the applicable text.

You are a great asset to the Jaguar community and I am merely attempting to add some practical utility that I felt was missing. As far as I am concerned anyone may use any portion of this work in any way they wish. Happy motoring to all.

What a great guide book to the XK8. I've noticed that the latest version is saved as a docx file - for people like me who are still using Office 2000 this can be a problem to open, so here it is again as a PDF:-

The2003_2005XK8_RevG.pdf

Hopefully someone with enough time on their hands could update it to cover the 4.0 cars as well....

A newbee xk8 owner here. My car is a 1997 coupe with an 5.3LS engine and 4L60E tranny. I am looking for a source on all the buttons and switches and how to use them in the earlier cars. Thanks in advance. vabreland at yahoo

Talking XK Files

I wish I had looked thru the thread before I started saving files ! Glad you made it (or them) PDF files. Great info ! After just perusing the document a minute or two, I
noticed the mention of heat soak after shutting down. I have often thought the same thing, because my last Jag would run the cooling fans a couple of minutes after the
car was shut down - in fact sometimes people would say goofy things like "hey, you know your car is still running" if I was out somewhere. I wonder if there is a way to
keep the fans running until the actual temperature comes down ? Just a thought. Thanks !
