XK8 Seat Belt Buckle plastic

Does anyone know where to find replacement seat belt "clamshells" that fit around the seat buckles for a 2001 XK8? I call them clamshells because two plastic halves fit together around the receiver portion for the male end of the seat belt. I really don't see the need to buy complete seat belt buckle assemblies just to get new plastic halves. Thanks.

Manufacturers normally do not sell parts for seatbelt repair due to liabilitiy issues.

Same problem here too. Wound up using Goop brand glue - it is somewhat elastic and seems to work best to keep them together. I used wire ties to hold them in place while they dried. Heads up to folks - don't do what I did and let the unattached clam shells hang out between the seats while you "get around to" gluing them together - they will chip eventually and you know "murphy's law" the chip will be at the most exposed corner. . .

I bought one on eBay, but it fits an earlier XK8. I bought a second one on ebay and it fit fine. Make sure you get a good photo of the part for sale.

I had the same issue, and I repaired mine using fiber fix. This stuff is awesome, holds great, paintable. It's like tape holding the 2 halve's together, but unlike tape, it bonds to itself and won't loosen or come apart, and looks less cheap. This stuff is great for lots of things, and I am not affiliated at all with the product, just a customer.

I previously glued the clamshells back together twice. Now they've come unglued for the third time and this time the little pin fell out, then the spring, and now all I've got are the loose parts. I've studied pictures to no avail. I don't really want to bust open one of the other buckles to use as a guide.
Does anyone know of a diagram out there? I can't find a YouTube video on this subject either.
Thanks for any help!
