I haven't heard of that procedure before - do you have more information on what it does?

This will prevent the engine from racing up to 2000rpm on a restart after a hard reset. It gives the ECM time to reread all the cars components.

After installing the newly rebuilt toddle body, my wife's car was still acting up on occasion. It finally stalled on her in the middle of a busy intersection after idling in traffic. I had it towed to the shop and told them to fix what ever caused her to be in that situation. They tracked the issue to the fuel pump. After replacing the fuel pump, the car is running like it should. It was an expensive fix, but it is a small price to pay for my wife's safety.

Good luck!

Jamie

No the car's thermostat is having issues. I have it at a repair shop right now. I let them know about the P0121 codes and told them not to replace or rebuild the throttle body. I am not sure if they will get to anything with that issue or not. I want the car back by this weekend for Colorado's English Motoring Conclave and rally this weekend.
