Found it for $20+shipping
Found the adapter:

BBS does not sell them direct anymore - either through Pure or Tire Rack - but Tire Rack will require a part number and order by phone only. Beats spending $97 kit (plus tax) from the local dealer.
Interestingly enough - the local Hubcap Annie in Austin used to have this part, they're actually offering to source it for abt $25-ish.

Not for all BBS I don't think - Subaru use BBS but the rims do not have the hidden valve design. Beemer and Merc I think are the other mfg that use this.
The most popular BBS rims with hidden valve stem are called RSII. It looks like the Perseus (?) wheel on 06 XKR Victory Ed. Mine arrived from Pure Motorsports in abt a week or so - and they're sold only in pairs. BBS used to sell direct to the customer but they stopped doing that.

Yeah but for the extra $77, you get a nifty pouch, some extra threaded plugs (in case you lose one or more), and the "tool" to remove/install the plug. Imagine that--$77 for parts that maybe are worth $4.95. But then again I am **** and just had to have the original oem kit.

I use a penny to remove the plug.
If I were a beer drinker or wine connoisseur, $77 should be worth a few extra six-packs ..... or a bottle or two of pretty decent wine.
But alas I am not - so I'll use that $77 to buy a pair of rear brake pads. They're almost due - and I am planning a road trip to several historic Texas courthouse on the way from Austin to Fort Worth, then go to Alliance Airshow @ Fort Worth.

I talked to BBS in GA yesterday and ordered some extra valve caps as two of mine disappeared at a tire balance session. I did find out that the rim bolts and valve bolts are titanium, no wonder the stuff is so expensive! They have most of the parts but I did find out that there are no more factory wheel drums for the Detroits....this is not good news as these wheels cannot be rebuilt with new parts if they get bent, don't get close to any curbs!

Good for you - it seems like it's dependent upon who took the call on the BBS side. I read about the same issue on 2 different forums (BMW and a thread on roadfly) - 1 ended up directed to Pure MS, the other got the stuff from BBS. Either way - we got what we need ......
