Default XK8 With Widebody Kit under $8K on eBay

I'm tempted to get this to just get the kit and wheels. It's not a cheap kit and you get a parts car for free. Makes for a mean looking coup.

Bid starts at under $8K but he has a reserve so I expect he wants more which is why I'll likely not play. Still not a bad look.

It does indeed. Looks more like the 2007+ coupes with the kit. It will be interesting to see what it sells for.

Looks like a nice blend of the two designs. I looked at buying this kit but it was wicked expensive to get out of Europe. I got my rear spoiler from them.

I like the deep dish wheel look, but hate that the tires look too narrow for the wheels. While I am normally a very pro-wood dash guy, on this car it seems very out of place and I am curious why the inside is untouched.

The body work likely set him back $15K to $20K and that's a lot for that car. But agree if you are going to do so much work on the outside why not do the inside?

Funny coincidence. I was driving around yesterday and caught a glimpse of a similar looking coupe with body kit. The color was a greenish metallic that was almost a dark turquoise--I think I had also seen this car a the local independent I sometimes use. Anyway the kit happens to look pretty decent on the car and almost looks OEM rather than tack-on.

As this discussion is still running, I've grabbed the photos off ebay before they disappear.
