Default XK8(X100 2003) headlight lens removal

Does anyone have a procedure for XK8(X100 2003) headlight lens removal? I need to replace the seal between the lens and the main headlight can. I was hoping this could be done without removing the whole headlight assembly.

Thanks for the detailed response to the question I asked. This doesn't really address the issue I have which is as follows: if I drive in the rain the headlights visibly take on water; if I use the washer system I get the same issue. The headlights were modified per the service bulletin by the previous owner. The bulletins you sent suggest Jaguar will replace the whole assembly, is that how you read them?

Once you get the light out there are a number of clips around the lens ( warm with a heat gun) and you can get the lens off .
See the series " Secrets of the XK8 " they have a video on it .
I had this problem with water in the lights .
1/ make sure the water shoots on the edge of the wing are in place .one of mine was missing so I made one out of plastic and used a heat gun to bend it.It just pulls out from under the edge of the wing .
2/ The white plastic hatch leaks so I hold it down with a block of wood about 1 inch thick between it and the body work.
3/ leave a large bag of silicone gel under the white hatch

Look here there are three parts ..

plastic shoot in just in front of the wood block . Taken at night as its still dark here.

Bob,

Looks like someone has covered this subject pretty well! So, all I will say is: Several years ago, I hung a small bundle to those little Bags of Silicone from the "Pop-Top" at the top of the Light system...Just pulled it up, hung several of those bags down in the Light, and pushed it back into place.....That pretty well has done the trick for me! I don't see any condensation inside the Lights anymore! and they are still pretty nice and clean!
