OK, so does anyone know what coulor code this steering wheel is in?


have otherwise the oatmeal leather interior and light gray roof inner lining(thats gonna be replaced very soon), looking at https://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/co...r-colour-chart and they seems to have great customer feedback so will most likely order from them, there is a few options there as to which one I have on the steering wheel(?),
any info appreciated,

The Steering Wheel colour options and codes for 1998 were:

Antelope: AGE
Coffee: SDC
Dark Teal: HDV
Sable: AEK
Warm Charcoal: LEG

I'll leave it to the brave to pick the right one.

I've had good experience with Furniture Clinic products refurbishing an X308 driver's seat which was showing similar colour loss on the bolster to your steering wheel photo.

S, my 98 with AGD or oatmeal has an antelope color on the wheel where yours shows wear. Friend I've searched high and low - if you can find antelope paint please share! Mines even more worn than yours is.

The steering wheel, facia top and carpets in my 2001 XK8 were Sable:




The seats and lower facia were ivory.

The VIN sticker should have the PAINT and TRIM 3 letter code.

 

yeah, the trim code is on the sticker, but just the "main" one ie seats leather colour, secondary trim isn't(dont know what CN refers to on my sticker though(?)), my secondary colour is most likely Antelope, which is what I'm going to order, Cheers!

 

Did you use the interior trim matrix in the 'A' pages I provided?

 

ah, yes, looked it up in there, should be antelope according to that list aswell(seems that antelope was only possible steering wheel colour possible with oatmeal seats), ordered from UK so will soon find out if I picked the right colour,

I've posted this elsewhere on our site, but its good for this string.

Antelope paint: I pulled the triangular vent off my dashboard, went to home depot, asked for a match, matte paint. 10 minutes and a few dollars later I had a perfect match.

FYI I've found Home depot really good at matching paint colors.
