XKR BBS Paris Wheel nuts and centre cap
My BBS centre cap badges are badly corroded & unfortunately the Paris wheel fitted to my XKR has an impossible to find pressed aluminium centre cap
I've come up with this solution, an amalgam of the following parts:-
BBS RS nut x4 (nut width 80mm, thread diameter 71mm, total diameter 99.3mm. Nut width is smaller than original but it drops straight into the original painted carrier and the screw thread to the wheel is correct - £119 eBay
BBS centre cap blank x4 (70.6mm diameter) £15 eBay (rhino tuning)
Butchered Ford Focus chrome centre cap carrier x4 (glued to the top of the BBS centre cap blank) £16 eBay (rhino tuning)
4x used supercharged bonnet badges (removed from original chrome bonnet carrier - which was too big - and glued into the Ford Focus carrier) £80 eBay
230 quid....the price of a rear tyre (made it easier to swallow once I'd thought of it this way)
I'll post a picture with them on the car when it's back from the body shop (all I can say is thankfully it wasn't my fault... another story for another day)
