XKR convertible side rear windows (quarter lights)
Hi folks , well having replaced both fuel pumps the old girl is up and running again , thanks for advise received .
However, another problem has occurred. On lowering the roof to enjoy some sunshine i found that the drivers side rear window lowered as usual but the other side did not.
The roof will raise and lower with no problem as will the main door windows but neither of the rear windows will move up or down now , this obviously leaves me with an unsecured car which is worrying .
Have checked both fuses for each window , which were ok, I read that each window has 2 micro relays one for up , the other for down , could it be that these are now set in opposing modes so stopping all functions ?
For information i have reset both main door windows and i have no messages appearing , i did notice that when the roof was lowered there were some traces of black material on the top edge of the window that failed to lower , it could be that the window had partially stuck to the rubber channel in the roof as it has not been lowered during the winter .
Any ideas would be very gratefully received , Regards to all

It is possible that your TOP UP relays have gone bad but to lose both at once time is a long shot. Attached is a diagram of the relays. Switch the window relays with a matching relay and then push top up button and see if the windows close.
If they do you need to replace the 2 relays.
More likely is that the micro-switches on the top up RAMS are not setting and stopping the windows from rising. Lastly, highly improbable, but it is possible for the 1/4 window regulators to fail. But both at the same time, probably not.
Follow the link below, Gus has a lot of great info about troubleshooting the convertible top.
