XKR How Many of Each Color?

XKR How Many of Each Color?
Anyone have any stats on numbers built by color?
I am betting that my Convertible 2003 Metallic Zircon Blue with blue top was pretty rare.
Same for White and Titanium/Gun Metal Grey, a color I love on the XKR, have to think the Green colors were fairly low as well.
Would think that Black and Silver were the highest production numbers.
cheers,
jj

I'd be interested in seeing the production numbers for various exterior & interior colors combos. Some of them are probably pretty low. Although black is probably more common than most colors, I looked at a lot of cars before I found my Midnight/Dove XK8.
I wonder if any red cars were made with dove interiors.

Rev., thanks once again, those are the best photos I have seen anywhere for one of these this color.
I was initially looking for a white interior as well but when I remembered how hard it was to keep clean my old party car a '73 Lincoln Continental, two door, Mark IV, White, White interior with red carpets, Ralph Lauren edition I think, $700 in the late '80's, and the rarity of the Zircon Blue I was happy to find the even rarer and new option for 2003 Dove Color interior.
Goldy you got me going with that sport handling option and I was wondering since mine has the sport seats, Brembos and 20 inch Montreals if I had that too. No Dice the upgraded handling package seems to have been only available on the Coupes. And only 25% of production were coupes so yours is three times as rare as a convertible in that color.
Jaguar XKR Coupe
Now I am hoping mine has the upgraded DVD navigation system. It has a Nav system but I don't know how you can tell the difference, or was that upgrade standard in '03, without looking for the Nav DVD box. Where would it be? Under one of the front seats or in the trunk?
Darn I can't seem to paste a photo of the Nav System. It has controls on both sides of the screen and a digital clock in the lower left of the screen.
Cute! I just realized that in the seller's photo of it the Nav System is pointing to his own house and street in Richmond, Surrey right next to Richmond Park outside of London.
Now I am hoping it has the adaptive speed cruise control but rather doubt it since it is not mentioned in the list of equipment.
Finally I have to think that the Red color of XKR's is pretty rare as well.
I have always loved Red with a Tan/Carmel interior....seems like the only 'right' color for a Ferrari for instance .....which I just realized is because my MGA is in that combination and it has been in the family since I was 12. Funny how those early first impressions haunt/influence your entire life subconsciously.
cheers,

A family one street over from us here in Florida has a Sea Frost green XK8 convertible with the tan colored top. Vey nice looking car. A few years back I read of a fellow in the upper Northwest that had Jaguar build an XKR coupe in Sea Frost green and I beleive he flew to the UK to see it being built prior to having it shipped to the US.

When looking to buy a 2003 to 2006 XK I came across a Seafrost green, dove interior, with a tan top XK8. It was probably my the color I liked best but I was looking more for an R than an 8. Then too I do not care much for a tan top. I did finally find a 2004 XKR in my second choice Quartz Metallic, dove interior, with a black top. I get a lot of comments on the paint, it seems to change color in different light, while it appears very deep. It is one of those cars you look back, at as you walk away, and think to yourself "what a beautiful car, and it is mine".
