XKR - spacer's - what is the max width?
Hi,
a question - does anyone know the max width spacer's that can be used if You have 285/30 in the rear and 255/35 in the front with 20" wheels without the tires hitting the fender and without modifications on the springs?- anyone try 25, 30 or 35 mm ? - what is your experience on the best combinations?
for xkr's bolt circle 5/120.6 nav diameter 74.0 it seams like 25mm is the recommend one.

If you go wider than 8" wheels, you want a wheel adapter that maintains about 30mm offset.
With 8" wheels, you can have "zero offset" and not hit the fender lip... so if the wheels are 33mm offset, you could use a 33mm wheel adapter and not hit the fender lip. Wheel bearing load will be increased over a 33mm offset, but XK8 wheel bearing were used on heavier American cars in the 1990's with zero offset wheels with no real issues.
With 9" wide wheels, max offset is about 15mm before hitting the fender lip. With 10" wheels, 30mm before hitting the fender lip. Tires on zero offset wheels will hit the fender lip with either of these wheel widths.
