Yes I have. Reviewed it yesterday, and saved it for future review. It was very informative. Since I have a replacement module coming this afternoon, thought I would just plug it in and see if it helps. If not, then I'm on to deeper testing such as this.

Thanks

Update: I installed the replacement module 1 week ago, and have had no failures since. Taken at least a dozen trips with no errors, speedo working, cruise working, no lights or codes. Looks like the problem was within the module, and am thankful that the repair company was willing to send out a test module.

Thanks to all that helped me work through the diagnostics and resolve this issue. I can recommend Modulerepairpro.com, based on their willingness to discuss the issue over the phone and to send out a trial module.

Every single thing that you have described on this thread matches what i am experiencing exactly. Tomorrow I am going to call the people you dealt with and see what they have to say about this. I imagine they have a decent handle on what was wrong now that you were the guinea pig for me.

Thank you for doing all of the leg work for me.

LOL. Not sure anyone likes to be the first one, at the forefront, trend setting, breaking new ground, exploring new frontiers etc. It can be very painful for the first one, but very helpful to those following in the wake.

Well, I'm definitely not the first one with this ABS problem, and all of the previous threads, plus the help I got on this thread, helped tremendously in diagnosing the problem. Couldn't do it without you guys!!

Definitely not the first with an abs problem. But definitely the first one i saw with "these" abs problems haha. Coincidentally your symptoms match my symptoms exactly, so i find a lot of extra value in your troubles lol.

I had my module sent to this company and they repaired it and sent it back.

All was well for the maiden voyage. Drove it for a few hours and managed to complete the drive cycles. By the time I got home it was too late to take it in for a smog check.
I started it up this morning and took off for the smog check place, got within a block of it and the car went into a restricted performance mode, my door locks started cycling from locked to unlocked and back for thirty seconds at a time or so, and the dashboard was a christmas tree of ABS module and Traction Control Failures. Engine started running horribly and the transmission was very aggravated to shift. If i hit the throttle pedal it acted as if it was an on off switch and wanted to run over anything in its way. I limped it the quarter mile home and stuck it back in the garage.

I called the module repair place and he got me to call the dealership and see what the model number for the original abs module my car was equipped with. I cross referenced what was installed in the car and discovered that both the pump and module were not supposed to be in this car.

I am going to send the module back to the module repair facility and they are going to test it again to see if they can duplicate the results with that module that i was experiencing, alternatively it may be perfectly fine but not compatible with my car entirely.

I apologize for being about 6 months late to this party but I recently pulled the LJA2210BH (ABS Module) from my 1997 xk8 an attempted a solder repair for intermittent ABS warning. Let's just say my repair did not go so well so I am looking for another part. I have seen that an alternate part number for the LJA2210BH is LNC2210BD which seem to be more available. I'd like to do a direct replacement without error messages or any reprogramming of the car.

Maybe someone here has been thru this and used and used part LNC2210BD instead of an original LJA2210BH ?

thanks

Not sure about the potential to cross those two part numbers. My research indicates that the '97 was a 1 year only module. If it were me, I would send your module to the company I mentioned in the post dated 8/4/19 above ( Modulerepairpro.com ) and have them repair and test it. They are very knowledgeable, and quite willing to discuss your issues over the phone. They can also send you a repaired module, and then give you credit for the return of the bad one if you are in a hurry. It took them less than a week to turn my unit around to me, including shipping both ways. You can still drive the car with the module removed if necessary.

There are TWO ABS modules for the 1997 X100.
One has 5 pipes (6 valves)JLM20129
One has 6 pipes (9 valves)JLM20130

What one do you have?
The part numbers on the case are NOT the Jaguar part numbers.

The JLM20129 are more common than the JLM20130 so a little easier to find from salvage cars.

Thanks All

Mine is the 5 tube JLM20129 but the only places I have found this number referenced is at Jaguar Dealer websites for the new part. The numbers written on the parts are the ones I quoted above and seem to be quoted by the used or refurbished sellers.

I am with darby on this one. the guys at modulerepairpro are good guys.
I even went in and met them in person when I was dealing with my abs module issues ( also on a 97 ).

They have a chart on their website, and a more exhaustive one in person if you want to call them, that cross references the model numbers and where you can swap them iirc.

The ABS speed sensors operates the speedo, so when the abs goes down it takes out quite a bit
