Default Yet another convertible top sequence question

Say you are starting to open the top and then for some reason you change your mind. Can you let off the open switch and push close "mid-stream" or early in the operation or do you need to go all the way open first and then close it?

Thanks,

Doug

I was assuming that this should not be a problem except that the importance of synchronization between all of the microswitches and position of the various elements in the system has been emphasized. So I was wondering if stopping part way could result in a sync problem somehow. Apparently not.

Doug,

I know of no situation like that, to cause an out of sequence situation. Now that in not to say it will not happen. I do know of a situation that the roof was operated as the car was moving and they exceeded the speed limit for the roof operation and caused the windows to be out of sequence and I guess that could be the same as what you are suggesting. I can only tell you that it was one time.

The problem at times is that we often only get half the information to trouble shoot the problems presented to us. So to say it never happened is wrong of me, I just have not heard of it.
