I’m currently replacing the timing set on a 98’ VP with 77k miles on it. This engine was moments away from grenading itself as it skipped a tooth. I pulled the oil pan and found an astonishing amount of plastic at the bottom and inside the pickup. I had to pull the oil pickup and blow out the multiple small bits of plastic caught in the screen.
