I’m in exactly the same position. I bought 2 XJ6’s a 1972 &1984 to get the 1972. The 1984 is completely original and rust free. Running when stored 20+ years ago. I’ll take a few bits from the 84 to put in the 1972 ( interior ) and swap with the 72. Both interiors are nice I just prefer the tan interior to the black. Then I’ll call up WELSH JAGUAR and another local all Jaguar yard and see if either want them.
