I've roughed out this illustration to see what my '84 XJS coupe might look like If I decided to use the doors and side glass from my convertible to create a "hardtop" version of the car, where there would be no glass or window frame in the way when you roll down the windows...and, thanks to the wiring in the convertible, I could simultaneously roll all the windows down with the flip of a single switch, or just roll down the individual front windows when I only want one or two windows open.
