Under the bumper. The HDPE sheet the pads are attached to is strong and weather resistant. You can see where the screws that hold the aluminum pads to the HDPE have been cut off and leveled.

The greasy looking stuff on the plates is anti-seize compound, which seems to help the electrical contact. The bolt is an alignment assistant.

View from the rear. The red/white striped object is a "stop" so I can back up close to the garage without hitting the door.

Instrument wiring is about done. Next come the LED caution and warning lights.

LED strip lighting. I choose green. The spots of epoxy help hold it on since the adhesive backing doesn't stick all that well.

My requirement for shopping for a new muffler were simple, as short as possible with offset intakes out outlets. I was afraid that they might turn out to be too loud (in non-cutout mode that is) but they are no louder than the stock mufflers.

I doubt that I'll find a premade tailpipe to divert the exhaust gas down, so I may have to make one myself. It's a pretty tight fit in there. I'm not all that great of a welder, but nobody will be able to see it anyway.

Both the exhaust cutout and the cutout switch assembly are Summit Racing products. I've not done the wiring yet, thus the hanging cable. The angle of this photo makes the cutout motor assembly look much lower than it actually is. The stock exhaust setup can be seen in the background.

I'll probably have a hard time finding a pipe to point the exhaust down from the cutout, so I make end up making my own. I'm not that great of a welder, but nobody will see it anyway.

I couldn't be too picky about the muffler, it had to be short and with offset inlets and outlets. This one fit the bill exactly. I was afraid it might be too noisy (in non-cutout mode that is) but it's no louder than the stock muffler was.
