I got two feet of the hose. I used about 3” of it to connect the new brass adapter to the bottom of the tank and the rest to connect to the pumps. I knew that I was going to be messing with a plastic tee and would’ve compromised it so I just ditched it and got the brass one so I’d never have to go in it again. I used 2 hose clamps at every connection. It was likely overkill but, I didn’t feel like messing with it again. Keep in mind the prices were from last year. $30 a foot today.
